Meet The Staff

Peggy Harris MPH
Peggy Harris, MPH, renovated an older home and garden in Ventura to meet the needs of post brain trauma victims in their adult years.
Her interest in TBI began when her oldest daughter, Jennifer, sustained a serious TBI in a car accident in 1992.
Ms. Harris combines a background in public health administration, health legislation, managing a family physician practice and landscape design skills to build an inviting setting for the Banner Home.
Rachel Cagnacci
Rachel is a Ventura native. She has been a caregiver at Banner House since day one. Rachel is known as the best cook at Banner House.
Rachel has her own bread baking company, Bake Rachel Bake. She also helps her husband run a successful catering business called The Event Caddy.

Caitlin Harris - Administrator
Caitlin Harris graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized study at NYU.
With the intention of transitioning her career path towards medicine, Caitlin has joined her mother to provide high quality living for Brain Injury Survivors. Caitlin also works as a Social Program Facilitator at the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County. As well, Caitlin works with Dr. Jeff Victoroff, neurologist and neuropsychiatrist, investigating neuropredictive factors of long term aggression and irritability in brain injury survivors at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.
David Cervantes
David has worked in several adult residential facilities throughout his career, taking on several different roles. His experience as administrator at a specialized behavioral home for adults has been a valuable asset at Banner House. David also dj's in his spare time and for special occasions at the Friday Night Club.
