Peggy renovated an older home and garden in Ventura to meet the needs of post brain trauma victims in their adult years. Her interest in TBI began when her oldest daughter, Jennifer, sustained a serious TBI in a car accident in 1992. Ms. Harris combines a background in public health administration, health legislation, managing a family physician practice and landscape design skills to build an inviting setting for the Banner Home
Chrissy – Co-Administrator
Chrissy graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a degree in Sociology. In addition to working at Banner House, she also coordinates social programs for brain injury survivors through the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County. She also works at Aloha Dog Grooming and enjoys spending time with her animals. Chrissy enjoys reading, hiking, painting, the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.

David has lived all around Southern California. An experienced caregiver, he currently lives in Ventura, where he plays keyboard in a band, “Dead of Night” and DJ’s in his spare time. He shares his musical equipment and expertise at Banner House, hosting events such as Karaoke Night at Friday Night Club. He is also known as the “Barber of Banner House”, providing stylish haircuts to residents and friends.
As an experienced caregiver, Renee provides quality care to the residents at Banner House during our overnight shifts. When not working, Renee spends time with her family, participating in various activities.
Otilia works overnight shifts and is adept at taking care of the residents and keeping Banner House clean and comfortable.
Kristin grew up in Ventura County and is a CNA, currently taking classes at Moorpark College to become an RN. She is an avid runner and hiker and enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys helping others, being outdoors, and traveling.
